Rhythm medical was founded by Rekha Nair MD, Dip. ABLM and Hari Nair PhD, D(ABCC) MBA – a wife and husband team.

Over the past 25 years, Dr. Rekha Nair has provided care to over a hundred thousand patients as a hospitalist and as a primary care physician. She is also board certified in lifestyle medicine. She is passionate about providing her patients with the best tools and strategies to bring about true wellness in their lives - be it through diagnosis and prescription or through lifestyle medicine or through a combination of both. Dr. Rekha Nair completed her residency from St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA and her board certification in Lifestyle Medicine from American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM).

Dr. Hari Nair has served as a scientific leader in biotechnology and medical laboratories for over 25 years and is board certified in laboratory medicine. He has developed many novel screening and diagnostic tests and is particularly passionate about utilizing diagnostic tests for chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Hari Nair completed his PhD in bio- analytical chemistry from VCU, Richmond and secured his board certification in laboratory medicine from University of Washington, Seattle. He received his MBA in healthcare from Yale University, New Haven, CT. He serves as an advisor and laboratory director to multiple clinical laboratories both startup and established.

Together, Dr. Nair’s have served the local community during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing same day confirmatory COVID-19 test results to local community including schools, nursing homes and testing to support continued economic activities during the pandemic. Together they personally swabbed over 4000 patients while serving the community at the forefront during the COVID-19 pandemic.

After 25 years of being together as of November 6, 2024, and raising two sons, 3 cats and a puppy, they have honed in their professional passion and expertise to raise the bar in patient care - to launch Rhythm Medical - a place where patient-doctor relationship will flourish with no bounds.
